NATIQ HOME and ENVIROHOME 10 Year Stain Removal Limited Warranty
Nylene Canada Inc. warrants that, for ten (10) years from the date of original purchase, this NATIQ certified carpet, made exclusively with NATIQ HOME or NATIQ ENVIROHOME nylon yarn, when installed and maintained as recommended by Nylene, will resist permanent stains caused by spills of all substances, subject to the following limitations.
The guarantee specifically excludes general soiling, discoloration, appearance change due to pile distortion, and exposure to substances or contaminants that degrade or destroy nylon yarn or the color of the carpet. Also, this guarantee specifically excludes carpet which has been surface treated with materials not recommended or approved by Nylene, or which has been subjected to abnormal use or conditions or to cleaning agents or maintenance methods not recommended or approved by Nylene.
THIS IS NOT A CLEANING CONTRACT. In order to make a claim under this guarantee, the owner must have attempted to remove the stain within three days after occurrence of the spill, USING ONLY THOSE CLEANING AGENTS AND PROCEDURES RECOMMENDED BY Nylene Canada, Inc. and must notify Nylene immediately if stain removal is not successful. For Nylene approved cleaning agents and removal procedures, maintenance recommendations and other conditions of this guarantee, refer to the Nylene Guidelines for Maintenance and Cleaning brochure. If additional information or assistance is required, or in order to notify Nylene of an unsuccessful attempt to remove a stain, call the NATIQ Warranty Service Center 1- 877-NYLENE1. Claims under this guarantee must be submitted in writing to Nylene Service Center, 2200 W. County Road C, Roseville, MN 55113.
NATIQ HOME and ENVIROHOME 10 Year Carpet Wear Limited Warranty
Nylene Canada Inc. warrants that, for ten (10) years from the date of original purchase, this NATIQ certified carpet, made exclusively with NATIQ HOME or NATIQ ENVIROHOME nylon yarn, when installed and maintained as recommended by Nylene Canada Inc., will retain at least 90% of its pile fiber, subject to the following limitations:
This warranty does not cover the use of cut pile carpet on stairs.This warranty does not cover tears, burns or cuts, or pile loss or damage due to improper use or the application of improper cleaning agents or maintenance methods, or lack of protection under roller caster chairs. If a claim is initiated on wear performance, the owner must notify the carpet manufacturer and permit Nylene to test the carpet. Subject to the foregoing, if the carpet is found to have lost more than 10% of its pile fiber, Nylene will replace the original carpet in the affected area, free of charge, including installation. No charges for moving or replacement equipment, furnishings, etc. will be considered.
NATIQ HOME and ENVIROHOME Limited 10 Year Soil Resistance Warranty
Nylene Canada, Inc. warrants, for ten (10) years from the date of original purchase, this NATIQ certified carpet, made exclusively with NATIQ HOME or NATIQ ENVIROHOME nylon yarn, when installed and maintained as recommended by Nylene Canada Inc., will not noticeably change color due to the accumulation of dry soil, if you have been following the recommended carpet care and cleaning instructions. Specifically excluded are color changes due to stains from the list reference above, as well as damage from burns, pets, tears, cuts, pulls, shading or pile reversal, furniture depressions or athletic equipment.
Over time, any carpet may change color due to the accumulation of dry soil. Following the Nylene Canada Inc. recommended carpet care and cleaning instructions is essential to minimize color change from dry soil. If, after following the carpet care instructions including professional cleaning, the carpet shows a noticeable color change due to deposits of dry soil from normal, indoor household use, which cannot be corrected, Nylene Canada Inc. will repair or replace the affected area or provide reimbursement.
NATIQ HOME and ENVIROHOME Limited 5 Year Texture Retention Warranty
Nylene Canada, Inc. warrants that for the specified period from the date of original purchase, this NATIQ certified carpet, made exclusively with NATIQ HOME or NATIQ ENVIROHOME nylon yarn, under normal use in a proper indoor installation, will retain its texture, not showing excessive pile crushing or matting from ordinary foot traffic as a result of the tufts losing twist, provided the carpet is installed over a cushion meeting the standards noted in the Abrasive Wear section and maintained according to manufacturer's recommendations in an owner-occupied, single-family residence. Texture retention is the ability of the carpet tufts to retain their visible shape, as measured by the degree of bursting, opening, or untwisting of the tufts at the surface of the carpet. Texture retention is measured against standardized rating scales ranging from 5.0 (new or no change) to 1.0 (severe change). ISO Standard 9405-1990. To perform as warranted, this carpet must retain a texture rating of at least 3.0 under warranted conditions.
Improper or inadequate care and maintenance will accelerate carpet wear. To refresh carpet texture, cleaning performed by trained, qualified carpet care professional is required at least every 24 months. Proof of this service is required.
Carpet installed outdoors, on stairs, in bathrooms, or kitchens or in areas subject to other than ordinary shoe traffic is specifically excluded from this warranty, as is damage caused by improper installation and/or improper cleaning methods and materials.
NATIQ WORK and ENVIROWORK Lifetime Carpet Static Limited Warranty
Nylene Canada Inc. warrants that, for the useful life of this NATIQ certified carpet, made exclusively with NATIQ WORK or NATIQ ENVIROWORK [30] nylon yarn, when installed and maintained as recommended by Nylene Canada Inc., will be shock proof to human beings, subject to the following limitations:
If human comfort is affected by shock, the owner must notify the carpet manufacturer and permit Nylene to test the carpet. If, in testing by Nylene Canada Inc. and subject to the other limitations contained herein, the carpet generates static above 3.0 kv (the threshold of normal human sensitivity is 3.5 kv) when tested in accordance with AATCC Test Method #134 at 20% humidity and 70o F (21o C), Nylene Canada Inc. will replace the original carpet in the affected room or area, free of charge, including installation. No charges for moving or replacing equipment, furnishings, etc. will be allowed.

Warranty Claim Registration
In order to make a claim, the owner must send a copy of sales receipt, 12 inches by 12 inches non-returnable new carpet sample, 6 inches by 6 inches pad sample, receipt copies from any professional cleanings that have been performed, and the completed warranty claim registration card.
