Nylene Canada cares deeply about the impact its products have on the environment. Our Arnprior facility operates the only depolymerization process in North America for the recycling of nylon 6, offering true, "closed-loop" fiber-to-fiber recycling for carpets. NATIQ carpeting fiber can easily be broken down, or depolymerized, into its chemical "precursor", caprolactam, and then reprocessed into new NATIQ nylon, over and over again, without any loss of properties or quality. This helps reduce the amount of waste going to landfills, and minimizes the negative impact on our environment.
